Working at Jameo means that we get to collaborate on amazing custom projects with even more awesome teams! We love to see unique projects come to life and it’s always a pleasure to get to know new people along the way. Today, we wanted to share more with you about one of our clients, PRÉCI, and their most recent project: the reconstruction of the Pilimini College in Guinea.
PRÉCI is a student grouping program for international cooperation composed of volunteers from the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). The main goal of the program is to design and carry out an engineering project in its entirety on an international scale. All this, while participating in the development of communities that need basic infrastructures such as a school, a medical center, a training center, or any other project aimed at improving living conditions.
We’re proud to say that the PRÉCI team was recently spotted wearing our custom gear in Guinea while working on the reconstruction of the Pilimini College. This project will provide a safe school and quality education for over 200 students each year. You might wonder how such a big project is financed. The PRÉCI team organized dozens of events and fundraising sales including one with Jameo’s custom gear for the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). Hard work combined with dedication and the help of hundreds of businesses to raise the money needed made this beautiful project come to life.
Kuddos to PRÉCI’s team for this incredible initiative: Nicholas Leblanc, Karyna Ladouceur, Ludovic Turmel, Eugénie Couture, William Péladeau and Alice Moniot. We can’t wait to see where your next adventures take you and we’re so proud to collaborate with you!
