We’re starting our journey toward sustainability and we believe that we can join forces to make the clothing industry a better place.
We are proud to announce that our company is officially Carbon Neutral for 2020-21. This includes our former office (we are now fully remote), our team retreats, our transportation emissions, as well as flights.
Additionally, our products are now Carbon Neutral since April 2022, from fabrics to delivery. We are certified by LCL Environnement, an environmental solutions consulting firm that audits our emissions and offsets on a quarterly basis.
Obviously, this didn’t happen overnight! Since 2019, we’ve been working hard to reduce our impact on the environment by offsetting over 150 tons of CO2. We chose to offset our emissions with Wren to fight against illegal deforestation in Peru, by giving Indigenous Amazonians the tools they need to protect their rainforest home. Using satellite imagery, drone footage, and video technology, they are able to quickly detect, report, and stop illegal deforestation early, before it reaches a large scale.

The term Carbon Neutral seems to be very trendy lately, but what does it mean exactly? Let us break it down for you:
As a company (and individuals!), we have a responsibility to reduce our emissions, and to offset the remaining emissions to reduce global carbon emissions. Climate change requires all of us to build more responsibly.
This is only the beginning for Jameo! We want to keep improving our practices and continue our efforts toward sustainability. We also hope that we can inspire you to make little changes in your daily life to contribute to sustainable living.
